Nikons…just work

Got the F401s ( also called the N4004 in the states, N series = american, F Series = elsewhere, but the model numbers don’t correlate to each other ), and after cleaning it up a bit, even although it was in good nick when it arrived, I still cleaned out the mirror both, focus screen and [...]

Adobe Lightroom

Found my first major annoyance with Lightroom / Adobe Camera Raw.

Why is everything so back to front ?

Right, trying to offload my hire car this morning, as I have my own car back, but the car hire company who shall remain nameless, can’t off-hire it without the insurance company’s say so…

Nikon 35mm f/1.8G AF-S DX Lens

Nikons second latest lens in the AF-S range, quite a reasonably fast lens for the price thats being asked, and on the DX sensors, it equates to nearer the ‘normal’ equivalent of a 35mm film camera ( 35mm x 1.5 crop = 52.5mm )
I’m aiming for this and the 55-200mm AF-S DX VR lens to cover all [...]

A New Search Engine ?

http://www.wolframalpha.com/ - it’s bizarre, rather than provide links relating to your query, it tries to answer them itself, computable knowledge…
